Just because a sheet has a high thread count, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's going to be high quality. 

GSM stands for grams per square meter, and simply put it measures the weight of the fabric. A higher GSM indicates a higher density of fibers in the fabric, resulting in a softer and more durable sheet. Most bed sheets have GSM values range from 75 to 120 and can reach up to 150-170.
